Lower East Side

The Lower East Side has an incredibly rich history — once home to two great estates and a smattering of working-class artisans, the neighborhood famously became a gateway for immigrants from everywhere from Germany to Eastern Europe to China to Puerto Rico, making it a true melting pot.
